1)Students who have failed their Chinese.
2)Students who passed the Chinese exam but do not have confidence to breakthrough from a borderline pass.
3)Very easily distracted type of students;hyperactive etc.This hinder their academic progress.(tutors hired need to be extremely patient and have ways to engage them)
4)Have attempted enrolling in tuition classes or even private individual tuition but no improvement can be seen,whether in terms of attitude or results.
5)Paper 2's marks is nowhere near good,composition pieces reflect poor language expression and no fluent during Oral examinations
6)Students with flair in other subjects except for Chinese.They wish to invest more time on Chinese to bring up their overall marks or attain all As etc.
What will I cover with my students:
1.Revise 5A/5B Vocabulary list for PSLE(it's still half of PSLE syllabus)
2.Use a advanced program,iflashbook,an animation form of textbook,to teach 6A,6B in advance.(inclu. challenging tailor-made comprehension questions to improve their inferential and comprehending skills)
3.Analyse PSLE past year paper.Impart exam techniques suited for different question types in the midst of it.
4.Use PC,Videos,Webcam,DVD and CD-roms.These form of multimedia helps to directly improve their LC skills,oral expressions,composition and comprehension skills
Note: The lessons will only be benefical when over time they are willing to put in effort and concentrate during lessons. Working hard have to go with working smart. I will try my best to provide guidiance and techniques. It's only when they follow they will achieve improvement within 6 months(2012 SA1)
